Introduction

The goal of this blog is to instruct people who have a difficult time interacting with others on how to improve their social interactions, in essence: to become more successful human beings

Individual efforts are wonderful, but it is unhealthy to the mind to be alone all the time, whether the isolation is imposed as punishment or self-imposed due to fears. Human beings are social animals, so much so that there is an entire branch of science dedicated to analyzing our social interactions.

It can be quite lonely to be separate from the social interactions humans tend to enjoy. Aristotle said in Politics, “Man is by nature a social animal; an individual who is unsocial naturally and not accidentally is either beneath our notice or more than human. Society is something that precedes the individual. Anyone who either cannot lead the common life or is so self-sufficient as not to need to, and therefore does not partake of society, is either a beast or a god. ” Now, I don't think that anyone reading this is a god, nor do I think that you are a beast, you simply don't have the tools to be the social creature you deserve to be. Not everything here will apply to you, but as with all advice, take what works for you and leave the rest.

Now to get down to the down and dirty of being a human being in modern society.
